Snowsound by Caimi. XXI Triennale di Milano
Caimi has always interpreted design as the aesthetic and expressive solution of everyday life’s problems, from work to leisure, from home to major cultural spaces. All of this is protected by a patenting driven approach, to ensure the originality and innovative features of each project.
Called to represent the Italian Pavilion at the XXI Triennale di Milano, Caimi presents the exhibition “Snowsound by Caimi. Design as you never heard it” with main topic the sound and the importance of a correct acoustic design in public and domestic spaces.
The sound
Sound is part of our daily life: a clear listening of the words of others and conversing respecting those who are speaking is the new frontier of design. The materials and Snowsound technologies are the result of an intense scientific research and the work of the best designers, both Italian and foreigners, that represent the fundamental condition in order to plan acoustics in a closed environment.
Interpreting a new technology in a project means entering a completely original alphabet. With Snowsound Technology and Snowsound-Fiber Caimi and its designers do represent an outstanding manufacturing experience, perfectly combining with what constitutes the unique and unrepeatable identity of Made in Italy: “Design as the language of difference”. The various solutions proposed by each designer are all related to a definition of design at the center of which the human being is the protagonist. This means, in the 21st century, “Design after Design.”
