MINI Electric. The iconic sound of silence
“The iconic sound of silence” is a journey organized by MINI to celebrate the world of sound and to approach the world of sustainable mobility from a different point of view. Caimi hosted the initiative, by offering some journalists the opportunity to experience highly technological sensory experiences, thanks to the Caimi Open Lab, a complex of laboratories dedicated to acoustic research.
This tour into the sound of the MINI Cooper SE was led by Renzo Vitale, BMW Group Sound Designer and music artist specialized in acoustic engineering.
At the end of the press conference, held inside the Caimi Showroom, the participants were able to take part in the sensory experience of the Open Lab. A journey through the whole world of sound. From the incredible reverberation inside the Rev Lab, a reverberation room ,to the extreme silence “perceptible” only in the Supernova Lab, a semi-anechoic chamber.
