Italian Pavilion, Expo Dubai 2020

In the final section of Italy Pavilion’s exhibition itinerary, Caimi offers visitors the possibility of experiencing the sensation of “silence”.
The path is almost unreal: walking 80 meters swathed and immersed in more than 800 wholly white sound-absorbing Flat panels designed by Alberto and Francesco Meda.

The silence enables visitors to process to the utmost the stimuli and impressions acquired inside the Pavilion.
But, above all, it is an opportunity to perceive the intimate relationship between beauty and listening, the perfect integration between ethical and aesthetic values in line with the theme of Italy’s participation in Expo Dubai:

“Beauty Connects People”

“After leaving the Theater of Memory, the visitor plunges into the landscape of silence.
The sound-absorbing panels designed by Caimi will allow you to live an almost anechoic experience.»
