XXVII Compasso d'oro Award

For the third time in its long history as a company, Caimi won the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award: the most prestigious and authoritative recognition of productive quality and excellence in Italian design.

The winning project is Klipper, an evolved sound-absorbing system, born out of Caimi’s collaboration with a young Danish designer, 28-year-old Felicia Arvid, met at the SaloneSatellite in 2018, the event dedicated to under 35, from 1998 inside Salone del Mobile.

In addition to the Compasso d’Oro 2022 award, Caimi also received an Honourable Mention for Open Lab: this is the futuristic laboratory complex, seven in all, built in full respect for the environment, right in the heart of the company headquarters, born from the belief that without permanent innovation there can be no business, no design and no product. Open Lab is expressly oriented towards theoretical and applied research in the field of acoustics and is available to universities, research institutes, institutions and foundations, as a true social sharing.
